Meridian Group's Flexible Refuge Signs
Flexible refuge signs are primarily used at round about intersections within the splitter islands and at the ends of pedestrian refuge islands, typically located at mid block pedestrian crosswalks. Flexible refuge signs are also used to supplement street signs to provide a visiual cue to approaching drivers that an obstacle exists and to indicate that braking may be required.
